Letter from the President
NH/VT State Assembly NewsApril 2010 Hello Members and Welcome to any new Members, This Spring letter is written to inform you about the happenings from your State Assembly Board members.  We meet routinely to discuss and plan our spring and fall meetings.  Unfortunately this year we will not be holding a spring meeting due to procedural changes from the National board. Next month is our National Conference held in Texas this year.  We hope many of you will choose to attend the Conference.  It is a great opportunity to meet new people, learn new information, network and have loads of fun.  There is also an opportunity for you to make a difference for our State by becoming a State Delegate.  Being a delegate allows you to vote at National Conference for the National candidates who will serve us.  You will be attending the Opening Ceremonies, Business Sessions 1 and 2, the Candidates Forum and then the Voting Session.  You will need to bring your AST card with you and your membership must be current on voting day.  If you are interested in being a State Delegate, please submit a letter or e-mail your request to me-- Michael Clark at 65 Kendall St, Franklin, NH 03235-1413.  My e-mail is nhroadrider@yahoo.com.  If you have any further questions, please contact me. Our next State workshop/meeting date will be Saturday, November 6, 2010 at the Elliot Hospital in Manchester, NH.  We plan to host an exciting day talking about trauma!   We usually offer 6 ceu’s for a very low price with lunch included!!  We hope you will be able to join us. Sincerely, Michael Clark, CSTPresident, NH/VT State Assembly of Surgical Technologists
